Oh come on, you all knew that sooner or later it would have come to this! ) B-)
1. Brosnan - cool under pressure, has his way with the ladies, and is a man of action. A Bond for the modern era. -{
2. Moore - suave, sophisticated, and possessing a healthy sense of humour.
3. Dalton - the no-nonsense, hard-as-nails Bond; also possesses a lighter, more romantic side.
4. Connery - the original, charming gentleman spy. A good all-rounder.
5. Lazenby - nice, charming and romantic. However, that didn't give him much else to go, did it?
6. Craig - ahhh, Craig. :v Well, he DOES equip himself in the role well, but somebody had to come last. Sorry Dan.

"Well, he certainly left with his tails between his legs."
Comments
1, Connery and Dalton, both very close to the Bond of the novels.
2, Craig, also very close to the Bond of the books.
3, Brosnan, could of been fantastic but let down by weaker scripts.
4, Lazenby, I liked him in OHMSS, who knows if he'd stuck around
He could of been great.
5, Moore, did his own thing, not close to the Bond of the novels at all. Although
still a favourite of mine as he's a childhood hero.
1: Daniel Craig.
2: George Lazenby.
3: Tim Dalton.
4: Sean Connery.
5: Roger Moore.
6: Pierce Brosnan.
The last two could easily swap though...dependant upon mood -{
1. Daniel Craig - Probably the best "actor" the series has ever had.
2. Timothy Dalton - A gritty James Bond that also brought humanity to the role.
3. Sean Connery - Made the role his own and set the bar.
4. George Lazenby - Similar to Connery, but shows a side of Bond that we had never seen before.
5. Pierce Brosnan - Love or hate his movies, this man WAS Bond. He played the role confidently and with charm.
6. Roger Moore - The biggest offender in terms of bringing bad films to the series, he was still incredibly sophisticated and a joy to watch.
Yep, that's my list except there's no tie for number 1 - that position belongs exclusively to Connery!
#1 Timothy Dalton "...if he fires me I'll thank him for it."
#2 Daniel Craig "I never left."
#3 Sean Connery "One of us smells like a tart's handkerchief."
#4 Pierce Brosnan "Me too."
#5 Roger Moore "Butterhook."
#6 George Lazenby "This never happened to the other fellow."
As favourites:
#1 Tim & Sean
#2 Pierce
#3 Dan & Rog & George
But yeah, they're all great.
#1.TLD/LTK 2.TND 3.GF 4.GE 5.DN 6.FYEO 7.FRWL 8.TMWTGG 9.TWINE 10.YOLT/QOS

6. Roger Moore
1. Sean Connery
2. = Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig
4. Roger Moore
5. George Lazenby
6. Tim Dalton
But I too would rather watch any Bond than anything else...
1: Dalton. Closest to the books.
2: Craig. Provides a modern action hero bond. Still relatively close to the books.
3: Connery. Classic cenima Bond. Adapted passably from the mid-novels like DN and TB.
4: Brosnan. Just plain cool. This man was born in a well tailored three piece.
5: Moore. Great actor, hampered by horrendous scripts.
6: Lazenby. Wooden and not even attractive.
2) Timothy Dalton
3) Daniel Craig
4) Pierce Brosnan
5) George Lazenby
6) Roger Moore

6. George Lazenby
2. Pierce Brosnan
3. Timothy Dalton
4. Sean Connery
5. Roger Moore
(In the early films, in Octopussy and AVTAK is he way to old, especially in the last one.)
6. George Lazenby
(7. Roger Moore in the last films, Because he's to old in my opinion.)
2 - Moore - He's pretty much my favourite. And I love his films. But the 'best' is Connery.
3 - Craig - Very strong contender and I look forward to his next.
4 - Dalton - Decent and should have done more.
5 - Brosnan - I like him, but I just prefer most of the others. GE was great but the other 3 were weak IMO.
6 - Lazenby - Obvious reasons.
1 - Moore, 2 - Dalton, 3 - Craig, 4 - Connery, 5 - Brosnan, 6 - Lazenby
2: Craig: Hes had 2 great films and one ok film so hes batting a good %
3: Dalton: Only knock on Dalton is he did 2 films if he got one more film that was as good as TLD and LTK It would be a toss up between him and Craig at 2.
4: Moore: He has his ups and downs throughout his tenure but he was fairly entertaining for the most part.
5: Brosnan: He got a great start with Goldeneye but everything after was trash not his fault he was handed awful storylines
6: Lazenby: Yeah we all know why
1.Connery
2.Brosnan
3.Moore
4.Craig
The Other Bonds LOL
5.Lazenby
6.Dalton
brosnan brilliant
moore clown
connery outdated
lazenby bad
Craig no no no
James Bond- Licence To Kill
Wow, so it sounds like You are not happy with 4 of the 6 actors to play Bond on screen? That's a different take but I respect it.
Greatness never goes out of date, my friend! :007)
1) The Spy Who Loved Me 2) On Her Majesty's Secret Service 3) GoldenEye 4) Casino Royale 5) Goldfinger
Craig
Dalton
Lazenby
Moore
Brosnan
Craig - the most exciting actor to fulfill that role
Connery - the first and most exciting
Moore - charming to the last
Lazenby - held up good Fleming script
Brosnan - not really an actor, doesn't rise above the role
Dalton/Craig
Lazenby
Brosnan
Moore.... )
1. Thunderball 2. FRWL 3. Casino Royale 4. TLD 5. OHMSS 6. SkyFall 7. GF 8. TSWLM 9. GE 10. FYEO
CRAIG- The way he brought back relevance to the character is astonishing. He reinvented Bond for the XXI century.
DALTON- is the Bond that Fleming described in the books in everything.
MOORE-Managed to adapt the character to himself, and succeded. No easy task.
LAZENBY- having no acting experience ,his only movie is ranked by many on the top 5.His Cary Grant looks.
BROSNAN-Too extreme.Went from "I'm cruel and ruthless" to clowning in the next scene.Terribly unbalanced performance .Maybe not entirely his fault.
Dalton - best Fleming Bond bar none. Dalton's performance is the literary Bond personified.
Craig - I have to admit, I was once on the "Craig is not Bond" bandwagon, but his performances has surprised me. I like his darker, more physical portrayal of the character. The way I see it, the only down side is that he doesn't look anything like the Bond that Fleming described.
Lazenby - perhaps not one of the best actors, but his sole outing as Bond was fantastic.
Brosnan - good actor ruined by poor material. There are times when Brosnan's Bond is very ... "Flemingesque", which is always a good thing, but I felt that aside fro Goldeneye, his films have been mediocre at best, and downright terrible in the case of Die Another Day
Moore - the least convincing as Bond. Far too jovial for my liking. Bond is meant to look cold, cruel and dangerous. Moore was none of those.
BILL: Hi, I am Bill S. Preston, Esquire. Me & my esteemed colleague, Ted "Theodore" Logan will now render our Bond actor ratings for you, the awesome fans!
TED: Yeah.
BILL: First up is Shawn Connery, you've sean him.
TED: Bill, that was bogus.
BILL: Yeah, not too well executed. But it rocked in my head. Anyway, he was most serious.
TED: Definitely! He shot that Dent dude in the ass!
BILL: And he totally got the babes in Thunderball.
TED: Yeah, he gets five stars all the way.
BILL: Next up was George something. He was cool, I guess.
TED: Bill... He had lots of guts?
BILL: Oh yeah, yeah- he rocked! Four stars?
TED: Nah, three. He wore a skirt.
BILL & TED: Fag.
BILL: Then came The Saint guy. He shot a guy in the nuts once, but he was mostly lame.
TED: Yeah, but he had a car-sub.
BILL: Dude, that was totally a model!
TED: You're right dude, one star for the nut-shoot.
BILL: After The Saint came that guy from Flash Gordon, the one with the moustache.
TED: He was pretty good; he blew that drug guy up all over the place.
BILL: Yeah, with a Felix lighter. *air guitar*
TED: SIX stars!
BILL: Dude, it's one to five.
TED: Oh. Yeah. Five I guess.
BILL: Next we got Remington Steele.
TED: He was awesome! Two-handed machine gun action! Like Rambo in a tux, dude!
BILL: Yeah dude, he was most non-heinous.
TED: Yeah, I was like whoah, he's killing thousands of dudes!
BILL: Totally. Best bond ever, dude. Okay, six stars.
TED: Finally we now have the Craig guy. He was in Tomb Raider.
BILL: A very excellent film I might add.
TED: Whoah, she was so-
BILL: Stay on topic dude.
TED: Oh. Okay. What are we talkin' about?
BILL: Craig Bond, dude.
TED: Oh yeah, he sucks.
BILL: We must agree to disagree on this one, dude, he got shot off a thousand foot bridge & totally lived.
TED: But all his babes die!
BILL: Good point dude. A star for the bridge thing?
TED: We can afford to be magnanimous and toss him two! He did other cool stuff I can't remember right now.
BILL: Done, dude.
BILL & TED: Stay tuned 21st Century dudes, the next actor will be EXCELLENT!!
