I was quite tempted, but their delivery rate for "rest of the world except USA" is GBP60! Suppose they hand deliver for this price?

I emailed Floris and they were very helpful. They checked the postage to Australia and offered it almost 50% cheaper than on the website. Sadly, it still works more expensive than buying the item locally at full price!

There is some good new, however: Floris confirmed that they do not use ingredients of animal origin in their products other than by-products such as honey or beeswax. The original shaving soap that Ian Fleming would use was formulated with tallow as its base. Traditional shaving aficionados still prefer tallow-based soaps, as they claim they foam better and offer a closer shave, but I would not fancy smearing fat from a dead animal on my face!

They have informed me that they will be doing some sort of promotions this winter, but have not desided on anything as of yet.

I think as with all scents you need to try it and see how it smells on you - I like Floris 89 it suits me, or so my girlfriend says LOL

I'm planning to visit Henry Bucks next time I go to the city. The soap is in stock, though not on sale, unfortunately. Summer sales will be ending soon, so I don't think there will be a chance to get it cheap for now.

My sample came today! Pleasantly surprised. I'm a young guy in my twenties. Pretty nice. Quite different from what I normally use.
I'll give it a try for sure!

For Uk follows Floris have reduced their sale prices a bit! Including the Shave Bowl. Happy shopping
