Elvis, had like, what, 40 seconds of total screen time sandwiched in between subatomic-sized scenes?
He probably would've been a really good henchman if he were fleshed out more, but it took me several fine-tooth-comb viewings of the movie to even notice that he was in it. And the word "Elvis" isn't even in the script once. WTF?

It did, lol. Elvis just wasn't in the script at all though. It was just an idea by Amalric last-minute to add Elvis.
Doesn't surprise me! I remember not finding out about him untill months after seeing the movie in the theatres. I probably forgot about him already when I was walking back to my car.
I remember a while back seing a behind the scenes interview of QoS with the guy playing Elvis (can't be bothered to look up the actor's name right now) talking about the part he is playing. He was talking about Elvis having a very distinguishing Bond Henchman type of feature. He almost made it sound like he was the next Oddjob or Jaws, which was probably what he was told. Quite anti climatic when it turns out that feature was just a wig.. )
I always felt a bit sorry for Elvis. He never actually causes anyone any harm does he? And he seems quite a sensitive soul (enjoying the opera for example).
I agree that he definitely wasn't a Henchman, more of a PA.

I agree, he was kind of like that guy that made the hypertechno/ironman suit for Gustav Graves in DAD. Except Elvis didn't make anything.

Bond wouldn't have had time to deliver a quip as he had to go after Greene. Good quip though )
" I don't listen to hip hop!"
That's all right.
True...but he didn't so much as leave the building as end up all over it. )
