He doesn't really say that much, does he ? Would have been nice to hear him expand on his idea - but I guess he won't do that because they don't have the licence and he'd be giving his ideas away...but interesting...

It would great if Telltale were to pick up the license for a James Bond video game.

Activision's camp has been quiet for some time now about another Bond game, rather their attention has been focused on the Call of Duty franchise. I cannot help but wonder if they have given up on Bond since the Goldeneye 2010 remake was the only game that sold well as I understand.

My first thought jumped to Walking Dead on the iPad, cause that's the TellTale game I happen to be playing. I could see an interactive story type thing for a Bond game with an ongoing publishing of episodes. I imagine good comic style animation with Sean C's likeness.

Mind you this wouldn't totally satisfy all my Bond gaming desires (that would have to be something robust like Batman Arkham, GTA 5, Assasins Creed etc). However I can't tell you how many times I pondered a truely great iOS Bond game and I am damn sick of shooters.

Telltale games would make a brilliant Bond game. I've been playing the Walking Dead games and the story telling is second to none. The developer makes a good point that alot of the Bond books and early films were less action based and based more of espionage and intrigue and Telltale games would re-create this perfectly. If they can incorporate some interesting action pieces into the mix then I'm all for it!

Fingers crossed that Telltale gets the license to make some video games based on the James Bond franchise. Judge from what the company president said in the article, I am sure that Telltale would give us a great game.

I'd like to see a level which allows you to gamble, with the game being watched by spectators, like in the films
Have you ever heard of the Emancipation Proclamation?"

Well im all in for something different. We have gotten the same game for the last 15 years now trying to remake Goldeneye. The issue with the Activision games was they were poor COD clones though I did enjoy QOS and Blood Stone as single player experiences

I'd love to see some new games.
What makes you think this is my first time?

Because their games are in a category of their own these days, its helped them secure licenses much better. Hence why they get to make a Borderlands game (Borderlands is already an original IP series by another studio that is still using the franchise), a Game of Thrones game (there is already another game that came out last year), and The Walking Dead (a separate game and show are tied to the comic license, while Telltale got rights to make their game anyway using the comics instead of the show).

I honestly can't see why anyone else's use of a license for a game would stop Telltale from getting it because they seem to be free to make games of their choosing since their style only competes with themselves right now. The next major Activision or whoever title in the traditional game style would seemingly be unaffected by a story-driven Telltale game released in similar timeframe.
