    Just for your info TP as a newbie in collecting.

    Many people use the term "prop" in the wrong context.
    For example that Lotus is not the 'real thing" just because it bears some autographs from the actors.

    And the shown guy Mick uses often wrongly the term prop when he's referring to his homemade replica.

    Most of the stuff in the Bo'ness museum has never been in any of the movies.

    Since a "prop" is a stand-in for a real item in the movies or a real item in the movies, it helps to say "authentic" prop or "replica" prop or "screen used" prop, etc.
