in the Metro (so it must be true)
transport minister announces that in future ,all MI5/6 operatives in the interest of national security
will be allowed to break speed limit,whilst on active service after the correct training has been under taken,now I suppose it will be down to the MET as per, to do the training ,
questions
(1) will this be done in marked police vehicles
(2) will MI5/6 vehicles carry warning lights/sirens
(3) if you see a battered Ford Transit zooming down the M25 at 100 mph with lights flashing
whos gonna belive it 8-)
(4) if said vehicle crashes into you , are they going to exchange details (sorry mate we are actually under cover secret service agents ) don't laugh I did get stopped by a county force traffic car while driving MI5 officers and the row we had very embarrassing

Round our way the rozzers have a huge traffic dept, with more and more of the cars being undercover. One curious vehicle is a merc sprinter van. It's white, unmarked, and very nondescript. What the bacon don't like anyone to know is that it's chipped to do over 100mph and contains a good amount of the arsenal of the ARU.

It's rubbish. As with various Intelligence and Special Forces within the UK, they can already speed in the line of duty, the car can have a Nil Detain Order (NDO) put on the registration number at request.

when we was stopped by the local traffic boys ,(1) they never got chance to run our plate through the PNC and they wernt told we was operating on their turf,
(2) the vehicle I was driving was a brand new Ford galaxy Ghia , with all the toys,so the point I was making ,and I know ASP is totally correct,as is MG,but its what joe public perceives to be true , my mum and dad in their 80s like most of yours ,would quite correctly think it was yobbos pulling a fast one ?
