Craig Era Budget Alternatives in 2014

Hey everyone. I have looked all through the skyfall budget alternatives thread. Most of the links are not working anymore. It's been a few years obviously. Does anyone have some links to some alternatives that are out there now? Looking for anything from Craig era. I am in the US and wanna buy here in the US.

Yes ,I saw that too in our local Primani, it looked very good for the price and our friend is quite correct

I can confirm the quality of the Primark colours, very close. However, you should be able to find the same jumper in a crew neck cut instead!

Amazing quality for the price. A little too light but nothing a bit of leather dye couldn't fix.

For anyone wanting a Lodge jacket but can't afford it. You can get a similar style Barbour, currently in the sale at Choice:

I bought one before the sale, still significantly cheaper than the commander and very similar in style but even so, a Barbour waxed jacket at £140 is an absolute steal.

Great finds there Lawrence. The website says the boots tend to run a bit large. Is that the case in your experience?

They do run a bit large but the toes flatten out towards the end, so if you size down and have quite thick feet they might be tight on the toes.

They are also available on eBay a little cheaper.

I have heard great thingsabout the Indochino Grey Suit. It looks simmilar to the Istanbul Suit, and you can add a waistcoat to look like Connery from Goldfinger. The Tie Bar has a Grenandine look-alike for $15. The white dress shirt you can get @ Target, not french cuff. And the boots you can get from Kohls, The Mark Anthony Ankle Boot. Hope it helped!

I love this suit. I paired it with a slim black and white print tie from English Laundry and looked pretty close to me. The differences for those interested-

Four button sleeves (TF has 3)
They can't do the 3 button roll to 2
The angle on the jacket pockets is steeper than Tom Ford, whose angle is very subtle to my eye.
Side-adjuster pants have pull straps, not tabs.

Just say NO to plastic shoes. Those look like they'd last about two weeks before the vinyl would split. You spend your entire life on a mattress or on your feet. Don't short-change either. Please.
