I believe that this swimming shorts are a really good and cheap alternative to the skyfall orlebar brown short. They are availables in several colours but the sky blue is the closest.
Take away the vest and I think it would do nicely and you can't argue with price.
I'm still on the fence in regards to ordering a replica from Baron Boutique. I sent them an email several days ago with some inquiries and they promptly replied. However, I sent another one with some follow up questions and have yet to hear back from them.
I was going to order the pea coat from them first but I've also been considering just going to a local Army-Navy store and buying a real pea coat.
I have bought an old pea coat from the 1950's and I have to say it is absolutely amazing. Very warm, very, very well made and a classic look. It is over 60 years old but I hope it will serve me another 60. Can't go wrong with a good used "real" pea coat. I have bought mine through vintagetrends.com

That sounds wonderful! I have one from the 1940s that I paid $40 for. I wore it to the Billy Reid shop when I went in to check out the Bond pea coat, and the Billy Reid pea coat didn't come anywhere close!

Thanks for the recommendation. I originally thought about saving up for an actual Billy Reid pea coat but it's 80% wool, 20% nylon. For nearly $700 you'd think they'd offer one that's 100% wool.

Haha don't reopen that can of worms! There's been lots of discussions about this because if you didn't know the original version was 100% wool then changed to the new mix when reissued due to the popularity from Skyfall
If you are planning on buying a vintage pea coat I would suggest you read this fantasic bolg post of a guy over at the fedora lounge. He did some great work that could save you a lot of time deciding which coat from what era you might want.

Thanks for the link, Peppermil. I'm still deciding on whether I want to go through with my original plan of ordering a replica Skyfall pea coat from Baron or if I want to purchase an actual pea coat.
The Baron one is not only screen accurate but is made to measure and 100% wool as well. Raj from Baron has also been a wonderful help through email. On the other hand, an authentic Navy pea coat would be at least $100 dollars cheaper and quite sturdy. Don't know how well the Baron pea coat would hold up over time.
Completely unrelated, and just rambling, but that open neck style on that Tom Ford polo is just like a Calvin Klein Jeans polo I'd been chasing 2 years ago and barely finally found...... I have no doubt that TJ Maxx and Marshall's and Ross will be full of the bargain brands that do their own take on this style by Christmastime or by early next year... (Michael Brandon, PD&C, etc.)
If anybody wants to save a little money they can just check on eBay.
If someone is looking for a budget alternative to the Kenton boots, Bass is doing a 4/8 eyelet version of the Plano suede boot with the brick colored sole.
