I can imagine Cubby chuckling to it , after all he sold x-mas trees before he did the Bonds (that's how he met his wife also)

8-) yeah, the music experts
I agree with the previous folks that it fits perfectly to the scenes - and that's all what counts
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
I wouldn't say you were a music expert - you don't like the QoS theme song for a start :v )
But in the case of the QoS (can I really call it a song??) he's not B-)

Have any of you guys seen "The Long Goodbye", with Elliott Gould as Philip Marlowe? The leading lady is the singer of the song above, Nina van Pallandt (And very good she is, too).
The first few times I heard that song I hated it. Although it fit in with the time of year in which the movie took place (Christmas season), the cheesy lyrics and annoying child voices really took me out of the film for a bit. But for some reason, the song actually grew on me (I think it's because it reminds me of the movie, and I really enjoy OHMSS). So now when I'm playing the movie soundtrack on my iPod (which is often), I no longer skip pass that song. Weird, huh?
all the hatred directed towards the theme to QOS.
One has to wonder why they didn't use a classic like Silent Night (Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht). People would recognize it and the song was really made in the Alps.
