whats your ideal/best meal doesn't have to be Bond inspired

mine would be as a starter
a big plate of nachos with all the trimmings,followed by BBQ ribs,slaw, jacket spud & sour cream,
followed by key lime pie ,washed down with ice cold root beer oh man

I have to go with "pinnekjøt". Ribbs of lamb or mutton is salted and dried, then steamed together with sticks of birch (For the taste. "Pinnekjøt" literally means "stick meat") Served with pureed swede, potatoes and cranberries. Cloudberries in whipped cream for desert. This is served for Christmas in the west coast of Norway.

Whole Wheat Penne Pasta with Pesto Sauce and Chicken Meatballs

Fried Center Cut Pork Chops with Steamed White rice (steamed with chicken broth, not water)

New York Steak with Baked Baby Red Potatos

All dishes are washed down with Green Tea. I gave up the soda a couple months ago, or else I'd be drinking Dr. Pepper. I sometimes will drink beer while preparing above dishes.

Charmed & Dangerous

Barbecue with sausages, burger, corn on the cob etc washed down with Sol beers with a dinky lime stuffed in the bottle neck. Summertime on a plate. Num num. ;%
