Big Shout Out !!!

Hi all, I know I know I know that I have mentioned this before, BUT, I am still keen to find a bond related item that is eluding me. On the basis that we are all mad bond nuts and may know the owner of the item I am looking for, here is a big shout out for anyone who may know.
The item I want started life as a Walther P99 pistol as a live firearm. Walther decided to make a bond special 007 edition. They exported most of them to a US dealer. Walther then decided that they should of asked permission first and quickly tried to recall all of the guns. Many had been sold and Walther were unable to recall them. There are plenty for sale in the US as live firearms but exporting them to the UK as a deactivated gun is a big no no and it wont happen. Someone however did do it and several werte exported to the UK and decativated accordingly to comply with our laws. One of the deactivated guns was sold by Arundel Miltaria to a bond fan in the UK but they have since lost their record of who purchased it.
So there it is, its a deactivated walther p99 / 007 MI6 limited edition with one of one thousand written on the barrel and on her majestys secret service printed on the barrel. It also comes with a 007 seriel number and bond related case / accessories etc.
Someone has one I am sure.
Any thoughts ??

I'll add in this vein--I'd love to get a Bond Wilkinson sword - the sword, not the razor. Were they ever produced or was it just an advertising piece for the razors?

Yeah, it was me who got Worthing Guns (not Arundel) to buy four of them in direct from Walther GMBH. Arundel had one that was sold to them, but it went quickly. I know where three of them are and you won't see them for sale any time soon. They are the only four in the UK.

Wow, sounds like a cool office deco.
Is there any confirmation that the swords have been done by Wilkinson?

They only did a few, and I mean, a handful. Soon after Wilkinsons closed their knife and sword making factory forever. Sad time, it was a superb British Company with a great heritage.

If any of your contacts do think of selling please mention me and i will have a bid at one and a large drink in it for your goodself.
    Kind regards

    There are/were two HMSIS JB9 P99 pistols on www.Gunbroker.com
I believe the price was $2700 per cased pistol. Just put walther case in the search box. I am unsure of the vendor.

    Good luck

My stepfather had to liaise once between an Omani Sheikh and Wilkinson Sword. He wanted them to produce 100 bespoke daggers, called Khanjars, for his tribe. The only stipulation was that they should be able to rip a land rover tyre in a single pull. Of course, they came up with the goods. They will be missed.

Thanks Donk but its impossible to export them out of states to the UK anymore based on the calibre and style of the gun so its a no no unfortunately.

It's true, no one will export or import from the States anymore. That channel has been completely cut off now.
