Im drawn to the one with Eva green in bed with DC, a place she occupies whenever I think of her, just without DC being there (I'm not into that sort of thing ) casually on her phone updating Facebook status.
Yes, she still stays in touch, and in period costume, I'd love to touch her stays !
( That must hold the record for the oldest Music hall joke )
Number24 you might want to PM those Living Daylights photos to Higgins, I think he's
beginning to warm to Tim.
I was looking at those Eva green photos and then immediately saw the "wet shaving" post..........brrrrrrr that caused a mental image and a half I can tell you......
In 1987 I went to the Scottish premiere of TLD. To this day I can recall the pleasure of seeing Ian Fleming's James Bond on the big screen, as accurately as possible. I was totally knocked out by Timothy Dalton's characterization of the man I had been reading about for (at that point) some 20 years, and the vivid contrast to the many years of Roger Moore's likeable but ultimately unfaithful reading of the part. Without in any way knocking Sean Connery, who was, is and always will be The Man, for me Timothy Dalton managed to embody the Bond of the books. I can fully understand those who say he lacked humour (his immediate predecessor could never be accused of that, and was Bond for a generation), and reluctantly can see the point of those who say he lacked charisma (ever indefinable) but will never forget the impact of those two hours.
..which doesn't make me a "Timboy" since he isn't even my favourite Bond or in my top Bond films, but does make me wonder at some people's eternal dislike of him!
In 1987 I saw TLD, and was bewildered. Gone was the goofyness of much of the Moore era, but this guy's Bond was, like, too human... not at all the cool superhero I'd come to expect from a Bond movie!
Later I read the books.... 8-)

Loving the behind-the-scene TD flashbacks! During the 80s, RM was the Bond in the cinemas, loved his spectacles, etc. Then comes 1985, as a loyal Bond fan I psyched myself up to like AVTAK while becoming a Remington Steele fan and had just started reading the books. Then PB gets pulled and enter TD, who I loved from Flash Gordon years earlier. Better! It all worked out and I was sold!
Screw the lack of humor, book Bond also didn't have it beyond the occasionally observed irony in his thoughts and gone was the over-flourishing gallantry because the new Bond's affection for a woman came from genuine intentions though he would sometimes be insufferable toward her ("why couldn't you learn the violin!?") And for the first time in 18 years, we finally had a Bond in his proper age!
"...the purposeful slant of his striding figure looked dangerous, as if he was making quickly for something bad that was happening further down the street." -SMERSH on 007 dossier photo, Ch. 6 FRWL.....

Quickly - go and read the EU Referendum thread pages, that should help dampen your ardour :007)

One of the signs that we're living in a madhouse is. All banks and utilities ask for
A bill with your name and address on....... yet all those same companies move you
To paperless billing )
By George your right!!! There's a conspiracy there somewhere
