......and a 'new' watch Bond is supplied with.......
Oh god no, not a Sony smart watch (just about the only merchandise left to Sony now that Vaio has gone), or do you mean this, as we're going back to Bond's roots:
What is this photograph make you think SMP vs AT? I don't see it at all.
The Aqua Terra has a more sloping profile, seen edge on, because of the lack of a rotating bezel. The watch shown in the above photo seems quite slab-sided, yet also quite slim too, so more likely to be a Seamaster 300, over the thicker Planet Ocean.
As Bond24 is almost a re-boot back to the beginnings of Bond, following on from SF, it makes sense to use the Omega 300 Master Co-axial, which is celebrating the first Seamster 300 introduced in 1957.
From what I know, so far, I'm pretty sure two watches will be in Spectre - one early on, including the Thames boat scene and a 'new' watch Bond is supplied with.......
I would like it to be an AT again, but I can see them using the SMP. Agreed the pictures just aren't clear enough yet. The bracelet looks like an AT IMO. the picture of the face just isn't clear enough.
Well, I guess we better settle in for a long wait. Could be a while before we see either an official announcement or a chance photo at high enough resolution to identify the piece. And, even then, if there are going to be multiples watches.... I give up )
Looking at this picture and then at the AT 41 mm on my wrist, it looks the same. It
s all speculation but until we get better pictures, my official guess is the AT. I was wrong with Skyfall thinking for certain that they were going with the Blue Titanium PO...so what do I know.
Who knows, maybe Omega is planning on releasing a 52 mm big version of the AT called the Aqua Terror.
Remember, Craig´s wrists aren't very large. The 38,5 mm looked a lot bigger on Craig than it does on a lot of other people.
I think his wrists are bigger than you think. In Casino Royale he had five open notches on his Planet Ocean black rubber strap. I normally wear mine with three spaces open. My wrists are about 7 inches so I think Craig's must be closer to 8 inches.
Better resolution... Maybe the 300 master co-axial?
Posted that one the other day. In that photo it does resemble the SMP. yet another recent post on the thread I thought it looked too big to be the SMP. Shame no one can enhance the blurred photo of the face that was shared.

To me it's because even though it's distorted there appears to be a hint of grip or texture around he bezel. If so, then it's overwhelmingly likely to be the Seamaster 300 master co-axial. M2c.
Better resolution... Maybe the 300 master co-axial?

Having said that. It does look like a fairly big face. Maybe even bigger than the SMP300. Looks quite prominent like the AT but it's face looks to big.
Craig prefers smaller sports watches (by today's standards) based on his own personal collection and I think he had an earlier version of the AT, as part of that.
The PO from the PTS was also made in titanium, I presume, to make it less bulky feeling for the action scenes - maybe that was at Craig's request?
I'm a little surprised if in Spectre, he's having to wear larger watches, like the 41mm AT, which wears quite a bit bigger than the 38.5mm and the Seamaster 300, which has very long, flat lugs, making it wear large. Both wear bigger than the original 42mm PO IMO.
He may not have been given a choice this time, though!

Craig only had input on the AT. The rest were Eon's choice.
True; had it been up to EON alone it would've ended up being just the PO for the film. This was the first time DC exercised his influence to incorporate an alternate watch.
Wish I could be as certain as others as to which models but the reality is until we have either higher quality images taken during filming or see something 'official' released, we just can't be certain - as several others have stated.

That is definitely the Seamaster Professional 300. Doesn't look like an Aqua Terra or Planet Ocean. Good choice Mr Bond.
Are you 100% positive?
From those images, it's impossible to be certain, you can hardly make anything out. All we can get is personal opinions based upon personal perceptions from the pictures we've seen so far. This happened last time with people claiming it's definitely a DeVille, and look what happened.
Understand your point and I guess until they announce it - everybody won't be in agreement. IMO it is definitely the Seamaster Professional 300. Craig hasn't picked a bad watch yet through 4 films.

Just my 2p worth.

His mommy says that he's had that strong grip since he entered puberty ) ) )
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
LOL!
Asp9mm, beautiful grip prop, where did you get it?
I spotted a VAIO Fit by the way -{

That image makes it even harder to work out lol. I'm going to say AT
Yep, same here. The hands look more like the ones on the AT than anything else from Omega's catalog.

No idea, maybe he liked it because it's the Omega equivalent to the Explorer. He certainly loves his vintage Rolexes and Bond watch history.
It wouldn't surprise me to find he's pushed for the SM300 in SPECTRE as it harks back to the 6538.
