The blue 42mm Seamaster Aqua Terra is already one of OMEGA's top 5 best-selling timepieces so there was no real need to throw more marketing money at it.
I dont remember the ad campaign for the Casino Royale 45.5mm Planet Ocean on rubber?????
There was. I remember back in 2006, it was all over the Omega boutique and dealers. They displayed both the SMP and the Planet Ocean on rubber with all them poker cards and stuff along with the Casino Royale movie poster.. The one worn in the movie with all the dirt still on the watch was also auctioned off...lol
Well, if you guys remember, Omega did promote two watches for a Bond film once and it was for Casino Royale. Bond wore two watches in that one, namely the 45.5mm Planet Ocean on rubber strap and the Omega Seamaster Pro 2220.80. So quite odd that for both Skyfall and Spectre, they only promoted one model as the one worn in the respective film.
A point to note is that the only time I've seen it mentioned by Omega that Bond wears the Aqua Terra in Skyfall and in Spectre is in the current issue of Omega's Lifetime magazine.
OMEGA did highlight the Aqua Terra in the Skyfall edition of their Lifetime Magazine back in 2012 and it also features in their James Bond Page on their website. I personally think that because it is fairly successful watch in its own right that they choose to focus on the limited edition pieces instead of promoting a piece that already sells very well.
Yes, very clearly shown at the website. But they don't promote it at the boutiques as the other Spectre watch. Even the staff doesn't have a clue that the blue Aqua Terra was worn in Spectre...

Bond's model:
Those two aren't it. It is hard to find with all the correct details. I know two people who've been looking since December with no joy.
