Hmmm...I had a PM today to the same effect...I thought it may just be an anomaly, obviously not...
What are you using ? Android smartphone, pc windows 7 or 8...Firefox, etc ? How about Apple devices ?

So far I've been ok....I use Android smartphone mostly with Firefox on my PC...

Any information would be useful, thanks.

Hi, it's an iPhone 5S. Was fine till a couple of days ago. Very strange indeed.
  • ThomoThomo ReadingPosts: 964MI6 Agent
By the way it works fine on normal PC and wifi or the iPhone on wifi

Yes, the person that contacted me said that their Apple products worked fine...so that is very odd.
I've contacted Si - the owner of the site - I hope to hear from him soon.

Anymore details you have then please add them...and anyone else having similar issues - if you could post them here, that would help...thanks.

It seems to be a bigger problem than first thought...I've had word that others can't access AJB either, on various devices...

The picture I put on was from a Samsung phone as I was checking it just wasn't me if that helps at all?

On my home computer I come to AJB and get a message from AT&T (my ISP) to check my modem. On my work computer--where I am now--there are no problems. Gremlins. . .?

This is how Silva got started. :))
as for me, home computer ( pc) and mobile ( android) working ok
Could it just be a UK problem, something to do with the floods and
    bad weather ?

I had no access to AJB for the last 2 days.
I am with Vodafone for my DSL and my 4G and both blocked me out.

Friends with other providers could reach AJB though

For reference add me to the list! Fine now, but last two days could not access the forum. I have Android with 3G on my HTC One.
This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

Thanks for all the replies...please keep them coming if still relevant...

I've contacted Si and he's looking into it...he may have already sorted it by the sounds...

To add my own troubles... but first of all, yay, I can now access the site via home computer and Apple 4G! For the past couple of days, nothing, I even tried my daughter's iPad and got the error message, server could not be found. I tried emailing SiCo and even sending him a tweet, but no answer and thought for a while someone might need to send the authorities over to his place to make sure he's ok! I even tried the other Bond boards and saw nothing about AJB being down. I'm in the US, but if a server is working wouldn't it feed into the Internet? ...that's why I thought that indeed it was a server issue but it seems not as others got through during the past few days.

I'm on my home computer now, and AJB is all bright and shiny. Guess those gremlins were defeated. . .

just received a call from my internet provider:

Apparently the problem is on AJBs server site.
Some domains block off entire ip groups (e.g. because of spam) and thus some of the good guys get blocked out as well.

It takes some time until the blocking is more refined automatically.
Hope that all this makes sense.

Yes, that does make sense....but I did check that out with yourself and a couple of others....I only went back two days before the issues were noticed, obviously no point in going back further....but I couldn't see a link at all....there is one other way we use to try and ban them - but its more an 'inconvenience' to them....but it does help...but that wasn't the culprit either....
