This James Bond Quantum Of Solace Jacket is a simple yet elegant jacket not stuffed with several things at once, but still has a tendency in attracting without a hassle."

Dan, I don't know if you should be angry or hurt....

Oh my... ) I didn't even get that far. I reported him as a fraudulent listing when one of you kind gents pointed it out a while back, even sent him a rather light hearted email. "Hi there, You're using my photos, in the essence of being sporting, would you be so kind as to use your own"... apparently whatever jacket he is selling doesn't photograph well. Okay cool competition, but using my pics. .. common!!!! Oh... I think my best line to him was "I'm flattered, it's a damn fine replica"... it's all coming back!! I was happy with that line
Received my Solden blouson about a week ago! It's fantastic, I really like the fit! I'm a medium in all the other jackets (Billy Reid, Barbour, JV, Matchless) and chose to go for a medium even in this case.
My only problem is the elastic band on the lower back that keeps on riding up by a few inches. Was wondering whether it would be worth removing or loosen up (not sure how?!)
I finally received my jacket today and it was definitely a snug fit in size L, but I could see that over time it would stretch a bit and I think a size up would actually be a little too loose for me. It is very nice and I commend Dan on doing this for all of us. The only issues I see with it so far are the neck material and the zipper. The neck material is a bit loose, although I am unsure if it isn't supposed to be that way. The other thing which may get problematic when zipped all the way is the left half of the zipper sticks out an extra few millimeters when fully zipped. This could get irritating rubbing under my chin. Again, nitpicking as it is absolutely a great alternative to the real thing and much healthier on the wallet

Now, I'm not really a selfie guy (that's a young persons game) but I felt compelled to add to this thread and shout out two of the gentlemen that inhabit this great forum - of which I am a rookie.
Received the Royale Filmwear Spectre Solden Jacket (small) today, a purchase from member "HildebrandRarity", who might I add was a complete pleasure to correspond with and buy from, and I'm really happy with it. I must also commend Daniel Love (aka "SilverFinger") for his exceptional attention to detail and the quality workmanship that has gone into this jacket. This is a true replica and as David at The Bond Experience notes in his excellent vlog it's an 'artists interpretation' - and as such, Dan Love is an artist. I wouldn't hesitate buying his goods again and can't wait to see what he emerges with next.
If you're on the fence about this jacket, stay there no longer and either pick one up from this great forum or wait for Mr Love's next run of them.
Thanks all for letting me be part of the forum.
Dan

Yes the waistband needs to be 'broken in' so to speak. There's an adhesive paper tape that was used inside to construct it. A little water and a bit of a stretch will sort it out. You'll notice a considerable difference in fit through the waist. The tape was used in order to make the assembly a little easier I presume.
So there's at least 3 sellers on ebay using my harrington photos now. Can't blame them, good looking model... I'm flattered really. Personally, I would love to see what arrives in the mail.
I didn't, I take a small in most things as I'm only just under a 36" chest. It's a snug fit, just how it's supposed to be, but not restrictive. If I were anything above a 36"/37" I would have definitely sized up to a medium though.

I just wanted to share this because I felt it was important. This is an email from an Italian customer of mine (I'm not sure if he is active here, but I don't think he'd mind me sharing) He just got burned on ebay buying a harrington from a guy using my photos. (as linked earlier in the thread) I have reported this guy numerous times, but he persists. My next run of harringtons has been delayed due to a second run of Solden jackets (following the Altaussee jacket). I can't give an exact time but it should still be mid-year. Most of my jackets will make a return, I'm sorry to hear of anyone getting burned by this guy.
"Ciao Daniel, thanks again for the quick answer.
As i told you on fb the products that i'm after are the harrington style jacket and the haiti black one.
I even told you that i just purchased a piece of rubbish from ebay, from someone that was using your pictures, ..i paid more than 200 dollars with the shipping and i got an imbarrasing product.
Anyway i will email you with more details, my size is a classical M slim fit, 48 european.
If you wanna e mail me with more details about your products i will be happy to read about.

Shame to hear about this. Maybe is a good idea from now on to water mark your photos...
Thought I'd revive this old thread just to update everyone on shipping. A bit less than half of the new soldens purchased shipped out today so some of you would have received that tracking info. I did have to wait for some funds to clear from paypal, but good news is the rest of the soldens on order will ship tomorrow and by this time tomorrow you'll have the tracking. A bit more organised this time and doing my best to get them out quickly. Everyone who requested longer sleeves as per the sizing table advice has been catered for.
Thanks a bunch for getting behind us again guys, another cracking response to one of the ROYALE production runs. A new revised and improved harrington is back up next and I'll be paying my manufacturer for that tomorrow. ETA is about 3 months as we're producing our own fabric this time so it's spot on.

Unfortunately my Small was a little too short for my body length so it's up for sale. Happy to consider any offers.
PM if interested.

Hahaha - thats pretty funny
They should have painted his fingernails in Photoshop, made it look like one of Bond's female admirers caressing his torso
Just a short note here to say thanks to Dan. He's been very responsive with his emails and is a delight to deal with.
p.s I don't get paid by Dan to say this...
That's very kind of you to say, thank you Phil, glad I could help.
