    In my opinion it is worth it, the case alone is probably worth around $1k, the GG is mostly 2nd gen, but the absence of the ruby leads me to think this is one of the last ones when SD was running out of parts -{

    There should be a ruby ( jewel ) behind the trigger set in to the cigarette case.

    Interesting SD Golden gun.

    Pete I will agree with you that the Golden Gun was made towards the end. And Sd put several parts together, however , the cig case on this Golden Gun is bigger than a 2 gen cig case.

    Although I liked the 2 gen cig case compared to the 1 gen cig case, I didn't like the fact the gun was disproportioned, the 2 gen cig case is too small, and the pen was oversized.

    This cig case is what I have mentioned before ( Transition Golden Gun ) every part is proportioned correctly, but it was always missing the jewel.

    I'm calling out the Mantis again, because he has a transition Golden gun.

    The walnut box is also a second gen walnut box, the box tapers where it shuts and has an extra lip for a better seal, the first gen boxes aren't tapered and don't close tight.

    And you can't get any better advice that that, Leo has seen more GG's than I have had hot dinners -{ :) and for a fat b@stard that is saying something :D
