Have you seen this TV show; the Bates Motel on A&E? I haven't. I've only seen the movie Psycho, the original mind you not the shot for shot remake from 1998.

Is the Bates Motel any good?

I enjoy Bates Motel, though it's actually more Twin Peaks than Hitchcock. Norman and his mother are both nicely played; and I like the overall "look" of the show, which mixes styles of the 1950s through today--so it actually blends in with a film clearly made in 1960.

Haven't seen it myself, but it's a prequel and I think it got some good reviews.

I watch it myself. There's a lot going on in the show. Just finished watching the Season 2 premiere. I suggest if you have a DVR start recording Season 2 and see of Season 1 is available on Netflix or something else. It holds my attention for the hour.
