My Girlfriend turns 22 on Saturday, been together three Years now and I'm thinking about cooking her something from her Native Country (She's Norwegian, so maybe Number24 can help me out here )

I know its not Norwegian, BUT streaky bacon candy is very good, streaky bacon in the oven, cook until almost crispy, then take it out and coat it in real maple syrup then back in the oven until its bubbling, take out and cool down, if you can resist it

I personally added more maple syrup than in this video, and id also suggest braking in to smaller pieces and dip one end in chocolate
