If You Had The Chance To Edit A Bond Film

After reading a comment from Chrisisall on the Moonraker VS DAD topic, i have decided to make a thread discussing what everyone here would do if they had the chance to edit a Bond film. After watching Goldeneye, i would include a scene on Boris's background as there is no explanation on his reasons for betraying Natalya and his colleagues. I'd also get rid of the slide whistle in TMWTGG and insert the Bond theme in its place .

What would everyone else do if they had the chance to edit a film?

I'd trim some of the slow moving underwater fight scenes in Thunderball.

I'd actually slow down or recut some of the fight sequences in On Her Majesty's Secret Service -- they always seem comical to me rather than action packed.

I'd fix the car flip being wrong in Diamonds are Forever and put the bathosub chase and fight on the beach back into the movie.

I'd put 10 more minutes of romance into Casino Royale and make a truly great film instead of a near miss.

I'd put another 20 minutes into Quantum of Solace, make the action scenes comprehensible, and retro-fit the dialogue so it's clear whether Mathis was a traitor or not.

I agree with the Car flip in DAF and adding the another 20 minutes to QOS, I'd also add removing
the "Whistle" from the car jump in TMWTGG. Along with removing the Tarzan yell and "California Girls " )
