EON announces Bond 24 cast member

In an unbelievable piece of casting, EON announces the shock casting of Sir Sean Thomas Connery as the new head of SMERSH in Bond 24 which is currently in production with principal photography being shot in Wales. Producer MGW commented that fans may find the announcement "shocking". -{

I take it by my fellow AJBers humerous replies that you find the EON announcement has little validity??

Perhaps not as good as 2013's announcement that "production of the unlicensed Aston Martin DB5 3ft miniature has ceased because the 3D printer ran out of ink!" which was brilliant BTW -{

The Domino Effect

In a continuing nod to the classic days of early Bond, EON also announced that the characters of Mr Wint and Mr Kidd - who appeared in Fleming's 1956 novel "Diamonds are Forever" and the later film adaptation - while appear in the as yet unnamed 24th Bond film. The villains - played in the original film by actors Bruce Glover and Putter Smith - will this time out be portrayed by David Walliams and Matt Lucas, of Little Britain fame. Walliams, a self-confessed life-long Bond fanatic is thrilled by the prospect. "I have been lobbying and annoying everyone I can think of for the last ten years to get a bit part in a Bond film," he admitted from London. "I said I'd happily be a waiter, a street cleaner, a rent boy...anything at all. Just get me in." Lucas, of Paddington, said "Barbara Broccoli has assured us we'll be the only gays in the movie." Filming is expected to begin in October.

The actual cameo will be by Sir Roger Moore.
