New Aston Martin Vantage GT next Bond Car?

In a interview at the Bond in Motion, producers said that Bond will drive a new Aston Martin that was coming soon. Could it be this new Vantage GT that was released today?

    I doubt it. And they shouldn't have Bond step down anyway from the DBS. I don't know why Bond has to drive a new model anyway. I like consistency. Not the new car every time. Besides, the Vantage GT isn't technically new. The F-Type is a far better choice as a Bond car than the Vantage.

    I like the DBS and it's considered more of a drivers car than some other Astons. :D

    In Autocar magazine there's a photo of a disguised future 4-door new Lagonda saloon.
    (sister marque to Aston Martin).

    I ask an obvious question for the sake of clarity...

    Did Mr Wilson clarify that he meant a new model of Aston Martin, rather than just a brand new DBS, Vantage etc?
    This is Thunderbird 2, how can I be of assistance?

    The article assumes that we'll see more difference in the cars. I hope so. If Porsche can do it then so can Aston Martin.
