Marathon Watching the Craig "Trilogy"

OK, I've watched Casino Royale on Thursday evening and intend to watch the next two Craig movies over the Easter weekend. Casino Royale is as great or better than I remembered it, and I get to pick up on the tragic Vesper's poignant hidden conflict more.

I all watched Casino Royale again late Thursday. One of the things that made me grin was when M says to Bond, "Don't ever break into my house again". Yet two films later, he does exactly that, again. )

Ok, just watched the underhyped Quantum of Solace and while the opening song is the audio equivalent of diarrhea (mainly due to the "singing"), I find the music score pretty good on hindsight. Elvis and Greene don't present too much of physical threat (overpowering sleaziness aside) however I find General Medrano a truly horrific and believable monster, despite being a Quantum pawn.

Her not installing high security for apartment is just one symptom of her inepitude.

I think that M in the Craig movies, through bad luck and script contrivance, was not very successful at running MI6, with the Quantum network and Silva running rings around her, with her inability to spot traitors and her building getting blown up.

After seeing the underhyped Quantum of Solace I'm currently watching the overhyped Skyfall.

I'll agree on overhyped, but it's still better than QoS!

Both movies suffered from behind the scenes studio crisis, but I find Skyfall a bit too worthy for its own good, despite having better to process and memorable action scenes than in Quantum.
