Will Bond ever stop?

Last 52 year the Bond movies has been here on earth, but do you think that we can push it to the 100 year, or will it stop. Sooner or later it has to, maybe next year, maybe there'll be a 200 year of Bond party. My question is, will Bond get to the 100, or for how long do you think the movies will go on. I think it can be still there, if we're lucky. Let's hope so! -{

    No, James Bond will never stop. Characters such as Sherlock Holmes have been going strong for much longer than James Bond, and to all intents and purposes always will. It may be movies, books, TV, whatever, but James Bond will still be going strong in another 48 years.

    Probably not. But I cringe at a sci-fi Bond movie. I'm talking Bond using Star Trek like technology. At that point they should go full retro like they did in those Star Trek Next Generation Holodeck episodes.

    As Barbel has pointed out, Bond is now part of the National psychology. :D He's
    up there with Sherlock Holmes, The three Musketeers and Tarzan etc. Characters
    which will lways be made, stories told and reinvented for different generations. -{
    So Bond will change and evolve But I can't see him ever stopping. -{ , Ownership

    As long as movies are made by human beings on this and any other planet, Bond will continue...forever.

    We are privileged to witness the First 50 Years of an immortal fictional character.

    Any discussions concerning Bond's longevity should be confined to Spectre headquarters.

    I really think James Bond will continue for a very long time. Its like the FIFA world cup that is held every four years, you don't know if that is ever going to stop but you just expect that to continue forever... I will be a 72 year old when Bond celebrates its 100th (movie) anniversary!

    I suppose if you think about it ,and wonder/hope that like star trek in the 23rd century ,when all inhabitants of our planet
    all live together as one race ,as opposed to Russians ,Americans ,black white ,yellow ect and there are no individual countries
    will we need spies to spy on who? , unless we need spies to say spy on the martians but then Bond will need a very good disguise kit
