I have used the old joke,
" I'm in great shape!, ...................... Round is a shape Isn't it ? " )
I'm a bit of a Star Trek fan as well ( Not huge, but grew up watching it ) and have a couple
of books on its history, and they say Shatner always had a problem with his weight. Even
way back in the 60s.
Honestly, I hope I look as good as Shatner at his age. It's remarkable to think that Shatner was born within three months of Sean Connery. People used to say Sean aged gracefully... but Connery's looking frail these days in his retirement, while Shatner is still riding horses and doing animated faux-Kung Fu moves in Priceline commercials.
To the topic at hand: I want to get back to the Quantum storyline. CR and QoS set up the first ever multi-movie story arc in the Bond franchise. In CR, Quantum is introduced, and the hero suffers. In QoS he begins his assault of the organization, and we were primed for a third act in which the knight rides to the dragon's lair... but they ended up doing a pastiche piece with Skyfall instead (50th anniversary demanded it, I guess). I will be forever rueful if they don't play out the Quantum storyline. Give me more Mr. White!
I posted before in another topic about the simple missions of the early movies. Bond 24 directly connected to Skyfall takes away the simple mission I guess. Unless it's just a matter of them referencing M's death and the new start. I'm not really thrilled with this.
On one hand I agree with you, Silentspy. Then again I have a love for
many old TV shows and looking at them now compared with a modern
show. Because of their simple story line the seem less exciting, as new
shows weave several storylines together.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
After wowing the crowd with Skyfall in 2012, Sam Mendes was the obvious choice to come back and make the upcoming untitledBond 24. For a brief period of time, though, rumors flew that he both was and wasn't going to return, along with word that Bond 24 and 25 would tie together in a mini narrative arc. Well Mendes did ultimately decide to come back to the Bond fold after all, and apparently Daniel Craig had a huge part in luring him back... without even knowing it!

Depends, I suppose. Have they aged or are they aged? As far as the latter, EON already tried that with Roger Moore.

That perhaps Rachel Weisz might, just might be on board. )
