    Looking for a little peace and quiet? Didn't think so!

    I remember that trailer well from my VHS collection. Although, I never realized how brilliant the editing was until now.

    Yes, I remember when I first saw the new VHS sets in the store and marveled at the efforts EON took to revamp the look of the series for home video starting with the totally new artwork, since most of the prior video artwork were taken directly from the film posters (or were primarily derivative from them). The promotional video's closing slogan, "The Original Action Hero" does strike a chord with so much truth, doesn't it?

    I was thinking the same thing! So many imitators, but Bond is the originator! (Take that, Jason Bourne!) :))

    Very interesting to watch - and i wonder how it would change now to reflect the Brosnan / Craig eras. I think Brosnan's films would fit fairly neatly into the overall focus, which is on excitement and FUN. Not sure CR or QoS would fit so easily, but i can imagine lifting a few pieces from Skyfall that would sit very nicely with the rest. So, i think for a lot of us the trailer emphasises a key point: Bond is a thrill ride - just, please, don't take it TOO seriously

    EON don't really seem to put this same kind of Passion into there Bond Trailers anymore -{
