TF207 vs TF108's minor 207 mod have you tried it?

I bagged myself a pair of TF207's going via duty free the other day. I have a pair of TF108's but as I am sure some have found the leather ear pieces at the end of the arm tend to wear. The TF207's have plastic end pieces for the ear.

I was wondering if anyone had taken a dremmel to the second bridge bar over the nose so they look like the 108's? Was it successful?

I may just swap the arms over but thought I would ask about this mod first

Not sure if you can get replacement arms for 108's anymore but the ones in the 207 look identical except the Leather vs Plastic end pieces over the ear

I have both and while I'm sure the second bridge can be cut off and sanded I wouldn't know how to match the finish to the rest of the frame
I do prefer the 207 though

207s are def the better glasses for me as slightly bigger size then my 108's, though I did flog em and buy the Marcos instead.
