Many of you will recall Dell Deatons stay here.
One day he challenged me saying the Seiko M354-5010 was not the correct watch from Moonraker and claimed that the 5019 would be correct.

A long fight started where I wrongly assumed that the 5019 would be only the goldplated version.

At the end, I have been in touch with his own source - Mark Mills who worked for Seiko UK back at the time.

His reply to the topic:

"......5010 and 5019 are very slight differences in case manufacture, but not visible to the customer eye So for the film it could have been either, as they would have the same model number"

Until today, Dell Deaton mentions ONLY the M354-5019 to be the correct watch on all his crappy Blogs and webpages like Jamesbondwatches.com and Jamesbondwatchesblog.com etc.



He only does it because he wrongly assumes that I am sitting on a large stock of 5010 - so he only does that to harm me in person. So he clearly puts personal interest (to harm me) and politics over neutral research and information.

I have found him at times to be difficult to deal with and always ready for an argument. I choose to have minimal interaction.

He even went so far to create an own webpage with the single purpose to pour anger, insults and libel over me and 2 other members from this board plus a lot of negative ranting against AJB.

It's gotten closed down immediately after I became aware of it.

He has a blog and Facebook Bond Watch page. A clown from Syria, joined a bunch of Bond Facebook pages friended others and myself and tried to extort money form a few of us. I informed leaders of the various groups and most booted the guy immediately upon my warning. Dell wanted to argue and accuse me of telling him how to run his Facebook page. We got past it, but I have had little to do with him since. Here I am a Bond fan with some credentials, owner of numerous "Bond" watches and positive contributor to his page and he sided with a newbie extortionist. At least that's the way I see and saw it.
