I noticed the postman this morning had a bulging sack. I offered him
Some relief, which he eagerly accepted and soon sent his contents
Spilling across the table. ....... Cards from all around the world, which got
Me thinking.
Any suggestions for rhymes for Bond related Christmas Cards ?
" It's that time of year, were memories linger
Why not pop inside and watch Goldfinger.
Or for that festive feeling, to give it all
just sit back and relive, Thunderball. "
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
" Be sure to defrost the Turkey, we want no one falling ill
The TV listings are crap, we've got so much time to fill
So bring out your Bond bluray boxset, Die another Day is looking swell.
So you'll have some Turkey in your stomach, and on the TV screen as well."
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
" It's that time of year, when relatives come calling
drinking your booze and down your stairs falling
Eating your food and through your internet trawling
It can get annoying, in fact quite galling.
But be of good cheer, don't be bickering and Brawling
Put on some Bond, they'll all find it, .... Enthralling !"
" As I sit in the dark, the candle it flickers.
I've just seen a horror that had me wetting my knickers.
It wasn't a ghost, a Spectre or goul.
But a bloke in green trainers, " That boy's a fool "

My wife arrived back from some last minute shopping, and is now
In a deranged state cleaning every room in the house. I have taken
Shelter in my TV room, and hope , she'll not attack !

Are there any local traditions over there for Christmas ( for those who celebrate it) ?
Christmas is massive over here in a predominately Catholic country - most celebrate on Xmas Eve and we took over our favourite restaurant last night for the evening (over 100 family members ) ) - not looking forward to receiving my end of month statement from them though )
Being 8 hours ahead of you in the UK our Xmas lunch has already been eaten - a traditional English affair cooked by myself and bought from M&S who have a branch in Cebu. Santa bought prezzies for our little one and in about an hours time we will be settling down to watch OHMSS the greatest 007 film ever!
Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
