And a good mix of both the light and the dark side, like Rembrandt?

Simpler than that. - The tree's fairy lights are red, purple green and blue!

Droids are welcome, but Ewoks are not allowed, they seem to think Holly is an emissary of the Gods.
    - I don't want her getting ideas! (Looks at the cat, who has glanced round hearing her name) Yes dear, I mean you!

I know why you drink coke zero all the time ... A friend of mine went to Oslo for the weekend and said it was £10 for a beer!! That can't be right, is it??

Oslo has the fourth most expensive been in the world after Tel Aviv, Geneva and Singapore, I think. I don't drink, so this breaks my heart :D
Depending on where you buy it, the beer might cost about 10£. Remember that the wages in Norway are high too. Sweden is a low-cost country to us. Swedes go to Norway to work, we go to Sweden to buy cheap meat and alcohol.

Ok, (TB2 decants a large tray with drinks and a small bottle)

No 24 - Coke Zero. (Stirred NOT shaken. )

Barbel. - 'Willy Wonka Hot Chocolate River mix.' Stirred and shaken to keep the cocoa blends strong.

Lady Rose - Bottle 13 from your Advent Wine rack, and smelling salts M'Lady!

Obviously there are places in the West End of London that charge ridiculous prices for alcohol but my friend said they were nowhere special.

    I couldn't live in Norway :))

Loving the wine advent btw TB2 ;)

I'm deeply sorry that I gave Lady Rose such a shock last night. What I wrote was at odds with her core values and her cherished believes. Can I buy you a glass of wine as an apology?

To be honest No24 ... I could do with a detox! Maybe Norway is the pace for me after all :))
  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,349MI6 Agent
For some reason people have a more problematic relationship with alcohol the further north they live - just think of the Russian and the eskimos. Experience shows that two factors limit the consumption of alcohol in a population: access and prize. Here we have very high prices and limit the sale of wing and spirit to special i en shops, Vinmonopolet (The Wine Monopoly), with limit opening House.
In short - would you like some soda instead? :)

This Christmas, I may open a bottle or two of champagne. After over a year of not very
Good news in my business life. Leading to a massive change in direction and the beginning
Of a totally new career, which I absolutely love, using my natural talent for chatting etc. ( So
I've been told ) I feel really happy again, no more grey clouds. -{ and for anyone else who
Are in a bad place ( like the north ) :p don't give up, keep on keeping on, things will get better. {[]

    Sounds nice!
I'll stick to my ginger beer, sadly. Never been much of a drinker. (Another quality that I do not share with the big man in the tuxedo).
Being down at Uni this year, I really do feel like the odd one out.
