Right, I have done a glut of Vodka Martini, the glasses are at the end of the bar. The more lemon, the less alcohol, please note.
The Bollinger is chilling nicely and I got out the Whiskey too.
But - the Phuyuck is being temperamental. My corkscrew has got stuck. Very stiff corks. Pussy is having a rummage in the cellar for the good bottles.

I remember as a kid every bank holiday there would be a Bond film on TV. As I'd only ever known and loved Roger Moore as James Bond I would be really disappointed if Sean Connery or George Lazenby showed up on screen! As much as I now oviously love every actor in the role. Sir Roger will always be my James Bond.

I read somewhere that he loved a nice bottle of Sancerre in later life, so Bottles of a nice vintage all round please barman.

-{ Cheers chaps and good health, let's remember Sir Roger for the brilliant bond he was and the beautiful human he also was. As such such a pacifist as he was possibly too beautiful for how ugly the world is at the moment.

I know he served in the military. Did he become pacifist later in life?

(Raises a glass of Coke Zero) Thank you, sir Roger. :007)

I heard him talking on the radio a few months ago, he was a unicef ambassador, and involved in numerous charities, he referred to himself as a pacifist. He also mentioned how horrified he was at thinking back to pushing that poor boy off the boat in tmwtgg, though he said it with a chuckle. He was also the victim of domestic violence at the hands of one of his wives, which must have been hard for a man of his generation to admit. Simply put he was an out and out gentleman and was always thankful for his success, as he said, you can look like Marylin Monroe or burt Lancaster and have all the talent but if you don't have that one bit of luck forget it.

(TB2 wheels a large trolley of bottles into the centre of the floor, where one of the tables has been removed for space. The trolley has individual holders for the bottles to keep them secure.)

Lady Rose got this in for her Advent Calendar larder. I know M'lady won't mind me borrowing the trolley for the occasion.

Lady Rose - the 'contrivance convenience' has been moved to the ladies.
If you find it has large claw marks in it, you have been warned. Holly was sniffing at it in a suspicious way earlier.
I have put a small side table next to it for a bottle, glass and, erm yes. Ahem.

24! - I know it was a fascia, a facade, but vandalism of the bar is not acceptable! That is my part of the pub.
I have now put it back to normal. You will find a tap over a Urinal in the gents - the tap has Coke Zero hooked up to it.
No taking the P with my bar!

I didn't install it - it was there when I ... came. (poor choise of words)
Someone else installed it, I swear!

Hallo? Anyone here? I heard bars in Washington D. C. offered cheap Russian vodka yesterday, not to mention free beer if a certain profilic tweeter wrote one of his sonnets. I was hoping there were simmular offers here.

Cheap Northern Irish moonshine? Free Belgian beer if Theresa May calls for another election?

Bloody extremists! I mean.... then it would be apropriate with cheaper soft drinks. Such as Coke Zero.
  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,817MI6 Agent
The beer is in the bar.
The Vodka is behind the bar.
The coke Zero comes from the tap in the gents.

Special offer - Coke Zero you can use your own Glass!

Thank you. It's been five days since anyone has posted in the Bond25 thread. The lack of news is infuriating.
They should know who's directing it by now. Well, enough of that.
Do you know the downside of having a large garden? This time of the year it needs cutting about every other day. It's so much work it sometimes feels like physical training, something I'm against for ideological reasons.

Well, I'd better order some coke Zero while it's still on tap.
All day I've been pondering one of life's big questions: Why do hot dog sausages come in packs of ten while hot dog bread only comes in packs of eight? Is this an international problem? Why isn't this a bigger political issue? Everyone is talking about how politicians aren't talking about the problems ordinary people face on a daily basis, and this is no doubt one of them.
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
Perhaps as at a BBQ you always drop a sausage or two.
The company has factored this in ? ..... I know my skill
With a sausage at functions, has always been
    Commented on. ;)

I've never thought about the "sausage dropped into the coals" and how it might affect the mumber of breads needed, Interesting....
