Mead, please. The occation is that I visited the building of viking ship and chatted with one of the ship-builders today. It's a work of art, despite what some art critics in England in said more than a millenia ago. :D

How often can you see a viking ship being built?
Have you ever chatted with someone who's building a 100 feet viking ship?
I think it's worth mentioning while drinking a horn of mead :007)
I work a mile from the ship and I'm a history nerd. I love it!

(TB2 places a huge steaming tankerd on the bar. Its making high pitched whistling noises and shaking, its almost tap dancing across the bar. - Using industrial gloves, goggles and an ink dropper, TB2 carefully drips three drops of a yellow liquid into tankard. A sense of a bomb defusal at work hangs in the air.
The shaking subsides to gently vibrating and the whistling drops to a low simmering. Anyone near the bar experiences ears popping.
Holly has been watching all this with suspicious caution, her eyes peering just over the bar fixed at the Tankard. Her flattened ears fold up as the noise subsides.)

One Captain Janeway, caffine junkie as requested Barbel!

I'm not very happy about a question that was on 'The Chase' tonight ...

Which of these singers sang the theme and had a role in a James Bond film first?

    a) Tina Turner
    b) Sheena Easton
    c) Madonna

I then had to pause it and discuss it with my very uninterested husband and debate whether appearing in the opening credits counted as a 'role' or not ...

Your bottle scaled glass of Prosecco M'Lady.
(A Huge goblet of the wine is decanted gently onto Lady R's table.)

The correct answer is Madonna, since she potrayed a character (briefly) in the film. Verity is supposed to be Miranda Frost's fencing coach.
Ms Easton and Ms Turner only worked on the title sequences.
Ms Easton although in them for FYEO, was appearing as herself, promoting her singing career.

The correct answer was Madonna and that was what I plumped for but I thought it was a badly worded question ....

Can you add some dry vermouth to the prosecco please? ....
  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,817MI6 Agent
    No pleasing some people....

Here is the Vermouth jug M'Lady.

Reminds me of the time a mate of mine went into a cafe and said "Can i have 2 underdone fried eggs, 2 burnt sausages, a slice of burnt toast and a pile of cold congealed beans." The owner said "I can't serve that" and my mate said "Well you did yesterday morning" :))

On a similar vein. A guy got a very bad breakfast at a cafe, and on complaining especially about the high cost.
As a sign out side the cafe said food at popular prices ? The owner answered " Well, I Fu*king like them " :))
