I see. Judging by VesperMelograno's post they aren't doing too well?
I think I've avoided a lot of pain by not being interested in sports at all :D

Why don't someone joined me? I promise not to tell any jokes, no matter how much Coke Zero I drink :)

Have a coke zero, I enjoy your jokes, they're very funny. {[]

The UK is just singing now. -{ Is Eurovision Song Contest taken seriously in
Norway. Or just a bit of fun, which you can make jokes about.

Some sort of interuption but fair play to her she kept on singing and the cameras
quickly turned to show crowd scenes.

Germany seem to have produced an Ed Sheeran clone. ;)

The "Grand Prix" is taken very seriously here, but it's also something we like to joke about.
Our contestant this year, Alexander Rybak, can be a little cocky. There are som subtle hints in his song "This is how you write a song". He wrote it himself :v

Graham Norton has just said that the UK was been offered the choice to perform again but
understandably the singer " SuRie" has chosen not to. I sure she must have been terrified.

Earlier this evening I went outside in the nice weather. I met a woman who's visiting the neighbour, a charming blonde BTW, and we had a nice chat about Nordic Noir novels. When I got home again a discovered my fly was open :))
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
:)) But, was it open BEFORE you began "Talking " :D

It was open the whole time, yes. And I would never misbehave on purpose towards her or her ex-special forces husband...

My eyes were mostly on the landscape. In these sunny evenings the mountains get a slightly reddish glow. It's quite magical. And I imitated the sheep in the nearby field. She thought I was rather good at it :)

On eurovision, I'd vote for The Netherlands {[]

So Your eyes were mainly on those Mountains before you ?
    Two in particular, perhaps ?

It's a pity Roger Moore never got to meet you. You could teach him a lot about a good double entendre.
I'm watching Roger Moore in TSWLM right now. It's his best Bond, I think. :007)
  • BarbelBarbel ScotlandPosts: 37,734Chief of Staff
Yes, overall it is IMHO. His best performance as Bond, I'd say, is in FYEO.

I once described myself as a downmarket Roger Moore, I'm the
Roger Moore you'd buy at LIDL ;)
Although to show how multicultural we can be ..... today i chatted
with, a Turkish guy, a Polish guy about the world, politics, and
if Aliens built the Pyramids ? ..... You see there are Weirdos like me
    all over the world. :D

TSWLM is a personal favourite of mine but agree FYEO, I think Sir Roger gave
    his best all round performance as Bond -{

Had lunch today at an African restaurant- not my idea, the Bride's choice. It was terrific! This multicultural thing does have its upside.

I just turned on the TV. Looks like Rybak won't win for Norway this year. What a relief! Now they can spend the money on something worthwhile, perhaps the planned multi-season drama series about the merchant navy during WWII?
  • ThunderpussyThunderpussy Behind you !Posts: 63,792MI6 Agent
On More4 ( UK TV ) tonight they showed the Eurovision song contest from
    Fr Ted. :))

I have recently redesigned my Computer area. I can still watch my Big'un
the 50 inch tv with bluray for Bonds and tv, but Where I usually sit when
conversing on AJB007. has changed from my first design.
I now have a corner with table and chair with my old Laptop, with a 10"
tablet set on a wall mount beside me ( Perfect height for watching Bond ).
I've also added a bluetooth tower speaker system ( It sounds Fantastic )
My Man Cave has quickly become a spare room for any old Junk :# and
my youngest daughter's art projects, But in this corner I intend to put up
a few posters and a shelf for some Bond books.
Next is perhaps a small fridge for some Heineken and Coke Zero :)

    I'll buy a round to everyone who comes in here tonight, Barman. -{
I'm touched ....(tears up a bit) .. deeply touched that almost all members here spent the day celebrating Norway's national day instead of frequenting the forum or this fine establishment. (chokes up again)
I didn't know the 17th of May ment so much for you...... ;%

Ah, is that what it was? I thought a day of silence had been declared and I just missed the memo.

You should never judged a man until you're walked a mile in his shoes.

But now the idiot is a mile down the road and he isn't even wearing shoes! :))

A Coke Zero with ice, please. Don't shake or stir it.
It's been sunny and a clear sky for almost week now, so I need something cold. Besides, I'm out of Coke Zero at home :o :o :o
I dread the summer. The nice weather will be over and it will rain most of the time....
  • BarbelBarbel ScotlandPosts: 37,734Chief of Staff
All fine here, lovely weather. A pint of lager, please, and another Coke Zero for my friend.
