    Oh don't worry...

Apologies for my absence, people. My entire street's Internet has been down. It's now back, though I don't know if that'll last.

N24, may I suggest this for your tree?

Barbel, ian't that one of those badge things they stick on the King's car?

I'm half asleep so I appreciate I may be way off. Breakfast?

A crest, TB2, a crest. It should look very familiar to anyone here and would look good on 24's tree.

Breakfast sounds good. 2 continental rolls, Maasdam cheese, and coffee of course, please.

  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,820MI6 Agent

I got the A.R.S.E to make up that lot except for the coffee. Most of it I am not familiar with.

    Another coffee?

(An angry high pitched whistling noise shrieks from the kitchen.) Ahem, stronger beans.

I have that one…plus a couple of other of the Bond related ones…I’m planning on getting another couple too 😁

    Hullo M!

Been far too long, what are you having?

Ah, you collect these coat of arms badges too?

Barbel - I just spotted the three balls. How obtuse can I be?! 😑

Not a problem, my friend. And yes, more coffee would good.

The breakfast I asked for is my standard one when I'm on the continent.

Hi T2, yea…I’m more the grumpy old man that sits in a corner that others actively ignore 🤣

The 007 store has quite a few of these Christmas tree decorations…

I’ll have a strong coffee with milk, scrambled eggs on brown with 2 rashers of bacon please 🙂

Since we’re all having breakfast - 2 Eggs, over easy, 2 slices sourdough toast, 1 Butcher’s sausage, Heinz Baked Beans and Banana Ketchup (it’s wonderful and goes with a fry-up superbly). Oh, yes, Blue Mountain coffee, of course!

Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,820MI6 Agent

Hope the food and drinks met the requirements gents!

I'm intrigued Cool Digits, I have had banana beer in the past and it tasted great, so I am more than curious on Banana ketchup.

I am trying to get my head round it, my mouth is already watering at the idea!

    Hey guys? Guys?

What the f^#$ is going on with Jaguar? This rebranding is apparently legit and...makes no sense. This feels like a colossal misread of who their customer actually is.

    (Grabs remote off Harry)

Give me that!! The Plasma projection wall screen is not a toy! Its also not for corporate standard observation lectures! Honestly...

(TB2 switches the screen to a live webcam of the Vauxhaul Building.)

    Who wants to drink what?

I’m not sure if this pub stocks beer from Thwaites, but apparently due to the government introducing a new minimum wage level and National Insurance contributions, the brewery has laid off over 50 workers citing affordability issues. The Electrician’s Union response was such…

This reminds me of two light ads in Stavanger years ago. Stavanger is straddled between oil and religion. One light ad said "Jesus is the light of the world". Next to it was another light ad saying: "Osram lights brighter!" 😁

(TB2 carries in a couple of crates of beer bottles, Holly drags in her cargo sledge, which has three crates on it. Both pause en route to the kitchen.)

Ask and you shall recieve Cool Digits!

Lots of bottles of Two wats... I mean Thwaites 😳

here. Give us ten minutes to get it stocked.

(The hotline rings TB2 answers it...)

Yes, this IS The Silencer & Black Garter pub...

uh-huh... Oh Jolly Good! Go back up the lane turn left and the pub is on the right. See You soon.... Wonderful!

The Fentimans lorry is nearly here with the Fizzy! Both kinds.

(TB2 hangs up the phone, and follows Holly's sledge into the kitchen.)

Line up the drinks, please, landlord. We have visitors.

One large coffee, please. I'm exhausted. Been busy all day helping the daughter (and grandkids) move house, which is why I'm much later than normal checking in here on AJB. Apologies if I've missed anything.

  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,820MI6 Agent

    All beverages as requested Gents!

Barbel apologies but this is Ferengi coffee. Expensive and cheap at the same time. We are out of Capt Janeway till the next delivery! There is a little of the Dax blend Rachtijino left, but its, um.... decaffinated.

Talking of deliveries, 24, when are you delivering the Christmas trees?

Also can you bring a crate of Norweigan Salmon and Kippers? I think Holly is getting bored of the Scottish ones my Father sends down on the train.

Sorry, I've been busey with other Christmas trees lately, and the trend continues tomorrow. Will do better in the weekend!

  • Number24Number24 NorwayPosts: 22,443MI6 Agent

The first part of the AJB Christmas Special will be posted on Sunday:

Expect six to seven inches! 😁

[Thunderbird 2 polishes the bar, wheels out the suculant nibbles trolly, ensures the fire is topped up and looking bright and warm in the fireplace.

Next he taps some codes into The A.R.S.E., which responds by doing a sweep of the pub with its eye, and then displays huge 👍🏼🎄 symbols on its display screen.

Holly pops through the Alsation sized cat flap, and pads over to her biel to eat her dinner. Wink is with her and a guest bowl is waiting for her too.

Drax appears, drops off a huge t bone streak with a ribbin round it. He pauses, blinks slowly at Holly twice, then leaves. Holly doesn't react to this, and continues eatting.

R2D2 bang in through the door. he is pulling a trolley laoden down with food, Bond gadgets and a huge pile of Dvds and Bluerays, the Bond films amongst them. He parks the Trolley near the A.R.S.E, which begins storing the discs in the media wall. ]

'Beep tootle whistle, whee-whee parp ping-ping?'

No, not yet Artoo, Thanks for bringing in the film library. Everything else is now ready too, including the food.

Some would say delivering the Christmas tree now is a bit late, but only because they're mean know it alls. I mean, you still have your tree in the living room, don't you? I haven't even decorated mine yet. The second reason is the delivery system. I had doctor Christmas Jones deliver it personally to the bar, and we all know she only comes once a year.

Thank you, doctor Jones. Can you move over so we can see the tree?

  • Thunderbird 2Thunderbird 2 East of Cardiff, Wales.Posts: 2,820MI6 Agent

    Well Done 24!

An excellent Tree that exceeds even your previous standards, and a Special guest to help deliver it, and with extra baubles too!

    🥂👌🏼
