I agree about trains. With trains there is no checking in, you go from town centre to town centre, you can get up and walk, visit the restaurant car and there is a view.
That doesn't include the 2 hours on the M25...the 3 hour wait at Heathrow... and the 3 hour wait for my connecting flight from Vancouver to Victoria ....
