On my way here, I came across this busker playing guitar, he said that some American geezer had taken his job and he'd been out of work ever since. Anyway, he played the guitar pretty good, but sounded like a John Barry rip off to me. Said his name was Arnold.
Just outside, this little fellow about 3ft tall came up to me, pointed at the pub and said, "If you keel him all zis will be mine".

Apologies for the late "Happy Christmas" everyone! - To answer your earlier question Pussy, I don't rate the new Trek films. As cheap smash-bang-wallop action films they are fine, but the lack the moral and ethical dilemmas aspects of the tv series, and are cheap popcorn trash compared to the Original Kirk, Spock and McCoy films. Plus the alt Enterprise is a fuggly design.
Its a shame too, because they have top notch actors to play the characters.

Well, this is the first time in ages that I have found myself with a free evening. Most of December and the first couple of days in January I have been singing in bars/hotels/restaurants providing the entertainment while everyone else gets blootered on alcohol, so tonight I am freely imbibing. <hic> I am quietly boozing away, chatting on the phone with friends, and spending time on this wonderful site. Happy New Year you lot!

The dislike Higgins has for Dalton !
When Bond is hanging out of the back of the Hercules fighting, to kill
The Henchman. Dalton has to cut his boot laces, sending the villain
To his death, but sadly by losing a boot. Totally destroying a fine bit
Of Footwear !
Could this be the real reason for his dislike of old Tim ?
