Always a presence in here, some say it's the spirit of a long dead
Bond fan, who forever walks, looking for the glue for old Sean's wig !
Either that or it's the boiler pipes acting up again.
Plenty of Martini's, apparently it's still Christmas until the 2nd of Feb.
So everyone can still " Party Hearty" )

You're going to have to cut back on this hedonistic life style ! )
I follow Bond's Example in the books , ten slow push up, ten slow leg ups
Some stretching exercises. I read that bit every morning and it's doing
Me the world of good.

No one knows cold like when you've had a big
Argument with your partner and have to share
A bed ! that gap between you could be used
For cryogenics ! )

How expensive is home heating in Norway, as over here
People are always complaining how expensive it is.
For Me I think a few dead pensioners, and people on
Benefits are worth it to help out Dave and his Banker
Mates !

The oil is very expensive here. You should think it would be cheap because we produce it, but taxes on oil are high for envirormental and other reasons. You must also understand that the tempreture varies depending on where you are in the country. I celebrated Christmas close to the Swedish border, south of Oslo. The grass was green there. Now I live north of Trondheim, and the temperature is lower here. But more than half of the country is still north of here. By the Russian border it's twice as cold as here.
Stavanger, the town closest to England, rarely sees snow.
Interesting. We've only recently changed to gas. Which so far
Seems very cheap £15 per week for heating/hot water in winter
And only about £5 in summer.

You can get them, but really our winters aren't that bad, except
For a few exceptions.
I have a set of snow chains in the garage, along with snow pads
( for getting moving when stuck) but I've never used them.

Here we have a problem every winter with foreign truck drivers who block trafic by trying to cross mountainous areas using worn-out summer tyres. I just saw soemthing on the news. I was wrong about the temperature in the rgion furthest to the North - the temperature there is -36 Celsius (-32.8 F). A local said you had to be careful because the fluid in the power steering gets cold and it effects the steering quite a bit. Well, good night
