From watching Top Gear, I thought it amazing that some houses
Had an outside electrical socket and lead to keep the engine and
Liquids if not warm, at least stop them freezing over night ?

Outside my Apartment is the municipal building parking lot. The parking lot is full of power outlets so people an plug in to keep their cars warm during the day. So, yes, that's not uncommon.

I've never really touched Irish Whiskey before, it wont hurt to try :) The Problem is though, is that most Whiskies/Bourbons/Gins are rather on the expensive Side :#

May I suggest Yamazaki Japanese Whiskey?

I'd say I was quite nice and civil. Generally Norwegians like the Danes, since they are usually very easygoing. What do we get in return? They call us "mountain monkeys" (for some reason ?:) :# )

Only I landed a good job, I had sent off for info on " The Royal Marines"
( not saying I'd have been fit enough to get in) :D. But the Army
    Always appealed to me.

Number24, you only hurt the one you love, I'm sure the
Danes have deep feelings for Norway. ;)

England is playing the long game, playing badly
To lure the Germans into a false sense of security. :))
