Today I saw a 12 year old boy of south Asian descent was pulling a suitcase by a rope past the local Coop. The suitcase was filled With stones and there is a snowstorm going on. The boy is going to the North Pole next year and he is now in training.
He's a good kid - I know him. The expedition is arranged by NRK (Our Version of the BBC) and it's called "Mission Nansen". They are sending a group of kids his age to the Pole. They are trained by experienced explorers and special forces operators. The TV series will show their journey and how the climate change is affecting the Arctic.
I suggested a show were they'd send a bunch of middle aged
blokes over to the playboy mansion, but I haven't heard back
from them yet.
