Considering that he posed for photos with it, perhaps he was inspired to buy it after seeing the use of the similarly long barreled
Walther LP53 air pistol used in the classic Connery with gun pose....
Suppressed .22 Rugers were used in the real world of clandestine operations, and are still a very good host for a suppressor and with
today's technology are extremely quiet.
