OK… so for years and years I have so wanted a Bond Omega… but… just wasn't in the cards on police salary ! However.. have been setting money aside here and there for eventually picking up one to use for here on out ( I hope).. Just not the kind of person to buy gear and set it in a display case.. if I get it, it is going to be used… My Barbour was and will continue to be my go to jacket etc… So.. was curious if anyone has ever used this preowned watch marketplace ?

I've seen reputable sellers on chrono24 taking money and disappear.
Never pay in advance to someone you don't know.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
And you won't get better advice than that !
where are you located exactly?
I may point you to some reputable dealers in your neighborhood.

I can confirm that Chrono 24 are a reputable company. I purchased an Omega Planet Ocean QOS edition last month and was absolutely delighted with at, particularly as I bought it for £800 less than other seller on the web and Ebay. Good tip you probably already know is to pay for it by Visa or Paypal then the purchase is guaranteed should the seller not deliver.
Hope this helps.
I apologize in advance.
What you say is like you'd say that you bought something from ebay and that they are reputable.
Wrong!
Ebay and Chrono24 don't sell things!
They are platforms for all kind of sellers:
Good sellers and bad sellers!
And it's wise to carefully check, from whom you are buying.

Indeed Bondtoys you are absolutely correct. I can only comment from the good experience I received from buying through Chrono 24. They did send me an aftercare survey and ask for feedback, it seems like they are concerned about their reputation. As you stated there are good and bad sellers, but like buying off Ebay and as you suggested, checking the feedback ratings of the sellers is important.
MFisher, let everyone know how you get on should you choose to buy from Chrono 24.
It's a bit like eBay, you can't say its good or bad, depends on the seller and chrono will have good and bad sellers. Be careful and do your homework on the seller
I have a bond watch that I would sell as I dont wear it. Its a 2002 model Omega Seamaster James Bond Limited Edition / 40 years of bond watch. Thats the one with 007 written on the dial. Its freshly serviced by Omega at a cost of £350.00 and not worn since. Its mint condition and comes with box and papers etc. Price is £2000.00. Mail me if your interested.
