Must admit after the big iOS7 update I was not expecting much at all yesterday from Apple software wise however there was actually some nice stuff shown (albeit nicked from 3rd party apps e.g. iMessage has nicked all the good bits of WhatsApp with voice clips etc and Apple have finally implemented their version of Drop Box which should have been done a long time ago)
Anyhow one neat thing I'm looking forward to is answering, calling and sending SMS direct from your Mac desktop, laptop or iPad.
Im forever leaving my iPhone in random places around the house so I guess it no longer matters if your at your desk or in bed surfing with your iPad ) to make or receive a proper phone call.
It will be kind of weird having your phone in your jacket pocket and not having to go get it to answer or make a cell phone call.
Annotating email attachments on the fly without opening another app is pretty cool also and will be something I will use a lot.
All in all its nice to see Apple actually working on decent software instead of launching hardware which will come at a later date. Logging into apps via fingerprint is pretty cool also - taking it a bit further then just unlocking your phone.

Just as well as I'm sick of passwords lol
It took me a few weeks to get used to the TouchID on the iPhone 5S as so used to entering my passcode. Now I'm finally used to it I keep thinking I can do the same with my iPad - doh!
Obviously the iPads will be update this year but if they are going down the password route I guess they will have to incorporate it into the laptops somehow
