Sorry, but Id say it was fake, the components look different to the one in the archive -{
It came from Lange's family and matches perfectly with screen captures (which, of course, I can't post here) of the background units seen on the conveyor belt, etc. The hero unit(s) -- the one shown in close-up being filled ... which is likely also the one Moore disassembles -- is a bit different.
what was throwing me is the lil pointy things, the one in the archive is solid and no knurling at the base of it, but the pic Im looking at must be a cut screen grab certainly shows them to be hollow, so I stand corrected -{
The upper pic posted by djO is the hero prop which, again, wouldn't match-up; although a couple of them (there must have been a dozen) are seen relatively close-up, I'm deeming these background units.
The "pointy things" are airbrush nozzles -- some knurled, some not -- with the mix and placement not matching prop to prop; the lower pic posted by djO has only one set and is, I think, currently with the Prop Store (at least one of the two they still have looks like that, with no evidence of there having been a second set); the red tape is also a different width than on mine and, again, I recall the one at PS (I should have photographed it when I was there; was given a choice of which I wanted but didn't consider documenting both) being wider.
ADDENDUM: The nozzles aren't the same even within a single example of the prop; it's possible that what appears to be a "solid" "pointy thing" is really just a nozzle with a pinpoint outlet whereas the others are broader.
