But are these connected with Bond anyhow? Except the fact that these are from Persol?

Don't know, I only collect OHMSS items. Perhaps our learned brethren can be of service?

You don't know, but you chose to sell on this board? :#

Exactly... Offtopic forum is for that.

There were some other Persols for sale recently on this same board. Hey, I'm just offering these to my fellow Bond collectors. If you aren't interested, fine. Sorry

That's correct, but both (2720s & 2244s) where actually used by James Bond in Casino Royale, that's why they were put in the thread called James Bond Memorabillia, Collecting & Clothing. Makes sense?

That wasn't meant to be snotty... English is not my primary, so if the last part of the post ("makes sense?") sounded rude I apologise! I just wanted to clear things out and explain why the Persols sold by Nico were appropriate for this thread and why these from Mr Gumbold aren't in my humble opinion. Nothing more than that :)

Oh, I see..I had no idea the other Persols were from CR! I don't know much about the new films, other than having seen them in the theatres (appropriately dressed as Bond characters...), so it is my mistake.
    Thanks for the alert.

Ok, I'll apologise too - your post did come across as snotty...but take it as a compliment then as I forgot that English isn't your native tongue ;%

Being born in Germany my primary is obviously Polish, which makes me speak great broken English, my native tongue however is definitely FRENCH (if you know what I mean hehuehuehueheuehuheuhe).

Jeez, that's not even remotely funny. :<

Damn sight better than me, I barely get by in English. :D

How did informative become "snotty"? It(MrZareba's post reply) was even courteous. Perhaps there's some kind of old school, MI5 double speak, going on around here?

Only the Ministry of Silly Walks as far as I know!

This reply doesn't make any sense however.

I don't think there is...it's easy to read the written word in a different context to how it's was intended to sound...

    Thanks for dragging this up again though -{

I always imagine Sir Miles, swanning around AJB, in top hat
and monocle, holding a three gold ringed cigarette in an
    ivory holder. :))

Then you have a VERY vivid imagination ! :o

    It's more like a tin helmet, goggles and a three-ring knuckle duster ! :D
