This month ,I've watched DAF and LALD -{
They have the usual extras from the ultimate DVD collection
Both in my opinion have transfered very well, I'd say that
LALD looks a little better. Although I know LALD ( along with
TMWTGG ) was filmed in a different aspect ratio, and somehow
I feel I'm missing something when it's not in the letterbox shape.
"I've been informed that there ARE a couple of QAnon supporters who are fairly regular posters in AJB."
I was watching closely and with high definition to see if I could catch an occasional blank stare or a non-reaction to another actor, and it just never happened. Sure, he's a tad less physically lively during scenes where he's walking, but that could just be that he was naturally getting older... IMO he delivered an impressive & professional performance. I think many who slate him for his so called phone in are just a bit too familiar with the behind the scenes stuff and are translating that to the movie itself.
What I really enjoy with YOLT is Barry's score.
Though the main theme is quite romantic (and very asian), the sharp short and serious tunes during the movie make it very special.
IMO the most serious tune - though Moonraker is my absolute favorite Barry score.
Will watch YOLT over the weekend.
President of the 'Misty Eyes Club'.
Dalton - the weak and weepy Bond!
Just finished YOLT on Blu Ray, and.. I got words...
First, wow did it look great.
Second, I'm SO tired of hearing how SC phoned in his performance- he was freakin' stellar here IMO.
Third, poor cat- I'd run too...
He has some wonderful war stories !
That night he and some mates dumped a load of tea into a harbour.
and some bloke Benny Franklin, flying a kite to get electricity. I guess
They did a lot of drinking, way back then. )

So, in terms of franchises I have 4 Bond movies now in Blu Ray, two from Star Trek, the three Robocops (it was a set or it would only be 2), and none from Star Wars or Indy. I guess I know what my actual favourite franchise is then, eh? )
