Just one error to correct in your post. Range D fabric isn't the most expensive TF sell, I had a suit from the E range which was £3850 or $6600.00. Even then I believe they have materials which are priced a POA.

That's a lovely suit though, good luck with the sale.

Can you give us a little history on the suit? If it's been tailored by TF, how is it that it doesn't fit? I was under the impression that if you bought an item from them, you've got a tailor for life for that piece. I bought my TF Harrington there, and they told me I could bring it in anytime to get it altered. It's the kind of service you would expect from such a high-end brand with very high-end prices. Did you purchase the suit used or at least already tailored to someone else?

yes this suit was purchased second hand from a friend of mine whom Ive purchased other TF stuff from. He had it made to measure at their New York location. I called Tom Ford and they urged me to bring the suit in for alterations but I have my eye on another TF suit (one Im sure fits lol) so I want to pass this one along.
