Not if its Whiskey stones or frozen balls. No dilution. (Face palms) Oh no, I can hear Pussy coming!

Funnily enough I was looking at Whiskey Stones recently but they are not the nicest looking things to have in your glass lol

We used to get special a ice here from the Antarctica via the ships, practically last in your drink all night

Anyhow my ma gave me a bottle of this for crimbo and I just opened it - actually quite nice, I was surprised as I was expecting something rather nasty

Here is an absolutely great video about how to drink good single malts. The guy explains also where did scotch on the rocks came from and why you should add just a little bit of cold water in the glass! :)

As for a good Irish blend - Bushmills maybe Thunderbird 2? :)

    Hahah, great video!

I love it when he spills the whisky away!
But right at the beginning, he mentions that these are blended whiskys (which I never drink)
Putting water into a single malt is still something that I wouldn't do

This aside, he has exactly the same dialect like that moron Asp9mm and you get an idea why everyone is so annoyed in his presence :D

Under Tennessee state law ,JD is legal classified as a whiskey ,as opposed to a bourbon. There are many countries around the world who produce whisky/whiskey, but a Scotch is a Scotch ,and I would no more ask for an Irish whiskey and refer to it as Scotch .Personaly for drinking in the garden with mixers I use Canadian whiskey ,and for special occasions with my cigars, I have a bottle of Baron Gaston legrand Bas armangac from 1912 wich is like angels tears :)

Your absolutely right AOS , if your having a party/BBQ ect ,put out the ASDA stuff , people will only pour out too much and then leave it ,total bloody waste . I was in our local ALDI the other day (the wife and I did go in disguise in case the neighbours saw us) :D and I was looking at their range of spirits ,and thought to myself "drunk for £3-00 total sh*t faced for a tenner "
