I suggested (on last film seen thread ) favourite stunt dosent have to be BOND and me old mucker TP thought also
this would be a good thread ,seeing as we all like films,
so I will kick off with
the Aston Martin multi roll in Casino royal , appently this holds the world record for a vehicle to flip/roll
the out come of this stunt would be to a degree unpredictable ,which in my mind makes it even more wow factor
(producer to stunt co-ordinator ) you want to right off WHAT ??

yes that is a great stunt ,that nearly went wrong big time , on the decent ,the stunt man discards his skis
and one of the skis almost gets caught up in the parachute , if that had happened it would have almost been certain death
for the stunt man,

while sitting in a chair , I suppose in stuntmens work probably a simple stunt, but effective and very funny.
That's my pick. I've never seen anything like it before or since.
does make you wonder if the director shouts ACTION very loudly, or whisper sit, so as not to startle the crocs

Indeed you would, a very impressive stunt that. And sadly, Ross Kananga died not very long after that. A real-life contender for a Bondian dare-devil if ever there was one... -{
actually this reminds me about 5 years ago ,we was back in Florda , and on the news channel ,this big croc had swam up this river into a housing estate ,when I say estate ,this place didn't have roads as such but rivers canals waterways ect
as everybody had boats, anyway they called the Sheriff, who called the state police ,who called the Florida game and fisheries dept , and of course numerous tv stations called WXKB 12 ect , so they collectively decided to shoot this big croc
it was far to big to lasso, (croc thinks to himself "what do yah mean shoot me I was bloody well here first) 8-)
so this cop shoots this croc in the back ,the bullet ricochets /bounces off and ends up in the gut of one of the other cops
standing on the boardwalk, who then begins to roll around on the decking, effing and blinding, in much pain ,so then the paramedics were called (for the wounded cop )and the big croc thought to himself f**k this for a laugh and swam off
to fight another day ,true story ,im sure agent bondcollectorsweekend has similar tales to tell
..... but you're giving away the plot !
but timing is off and the red Torino nose dive into the Pacific Ocean ,(just for the record I hate that bit as I really want that car)
Love in Indy 3, I think it was Vic Armstrong's last filmed stunt.

This is my favorite as well. The guy who owned the Alligator farm actually performed this stunt if I remember correctly? I remember watching the attempts on the dvd special features. He literally almost died at least twice. It was crazy, but such a classic stunt lol.
