We will ever see the James Bond movies return to the 1960s theme?

It will be very nice to see some future films return to the 60s theme.

    :))
Given the cost of having to make locations look as they did in the 60s
with classic cars , clothes etc. I'd say it would be really expensive to
Make, compared to shooting it, in it's contemporary setting.

Maybe audiences 50 years from now will enjoy the fashion and cars of the 2010's.

Somehow I doubt it since many cars and fashion items reference older stuff these days. Jay Leno talked about how cars were designed back then. How if they looked fast they were fast. These days even though I like modern cars, so many are wind tunnel designs. You won't see pop up lights anymore. Also, many car designs were new and fresh back then. Perhaps the new Aston Martin will be something more original this time around. If it's not a better design than the F-Type it will be a disappointment to me.

I said it once, but it would have been nice if the producers allowed Tarantino and Pierce Brosnan to do their Bond origin movie. I just have a feeling that it was going to be period and be the origin of Bond so it could lead into Dr. No. That would have been cool. Now that chance is gone.

I feel that once Daniel Craig is done, the series will probably be rebooted again. Skyfall was a bit of a halfhearted reboot. We'll only truly see with the next movie. But I want a good run of Bond movies like with the Connery ones. Or even Moore movies.
