Skyfall Patrice's folding Globe-Trotter rifle

Well lads and lasses,

This has taken bloody ages but finally we can see how that blasted rifle transformed out of that bloody Globe-Trotter case...Not what I'd expected but quite ingenious although can't quite see how this would pass airport or similar security scanners!

Amazing looking piece of kit! But I agree there is no way this will pass through airport security.

Still baffles me how this can switch from bolt-action to semi-automatic though.

This is probably going to make me sound stupid ( but it's never stopped me before ) )
I never even noticed that the entire briefcase was the gun ? I just thought it was a
Gun IN a brief case. I blame the film makers for not making that more obvious )

my mate had a "gun " in a briefcase ,he was a CP officer in the RMP apparently you hold the case as normal by the handle and when,you need to deploy the weapon ,you press a button on the handle the case falls away leaving a very nasty looking H&K sub-machine- gun,there is probably something on you tube somewhere or our old mate ASP9mm can jump in and fill in the missing spaces,

The old HK MP5K in a briefcase. It didn't actually drop away, you just pulled a trigger that was set into the briefcase handle and the MP5K would fire through a hole in the side of the case. The shells would collect in the case itself.

The gun was sailed to the airport on Silva's luxury sailboat, the chimera. Patrice received it at the airport. This is an amazing piece but I'm waiting on those of you doing his special casino payout chip!
